The garden I consider my greatest work of art , and like any artist, I must let go of my creation and move on. There are infinite possibilities to create a real tropical wonderland in my new home.Lexcenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17856993035719777231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23157576.post-2817306854514007302009-11-09T06:26:42.656+11:002009-11-09T06:26:42.656+11:00Where are you moving to Lexcen?

It's the only place I can go and feel really tall.

I sat next to a Vietnamese man on the bus and a homeless dude yelled at me for not standing and letting anyone older take my seat. (I was pregnant at the time.) The Vietnamese guy...all 5'1" of him...yelled at the homeless guy, "Shut the f*@# up! Leave her alone!" He was an elderly man and I was stunned. We sat and talked about where he was from, where I was from, etc. It was so bizarre. He thought all Texans rode bulls and wore giant cowboy hats. Wow.

That homeless guy didn't bother me anymore.

(random story)

There's a major suburb of Dallas that has a huge Vietnamese / Chinese population.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23157576.post-17138983682693279442009-11-04T14:59:40.371+11:002009-11-04T14:59:40.371+11:00Things are getting more Asian around here too but ...Things are getting more Asian around here too but part of it is because we've got 2 universities in town - big on math and computers - and they attract a LOT of Asians.Jeanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15320507412459242451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23157576.post-2988861874567917832009-11-04T11:43:42.935+11:002009-11-04T11:43:42.935+11:00Sounds like California. ;-)Sounds like California. ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
