First anniversary

On the 28th of March 2006 I finally took the plunge that I'd been avoiding and started a blog.
I don't know why I took so long to begin, I usually like to be at the cutting edge of anything that's new.

I had no idea about what to write except what occupied my mind at that particular moment. There was never a grand design or particular theme for the blog, just an outlet for expressing myself.

I've always felt stifled in that I've had opinions on just about everything and when my dear wife had to listen to me ranting on and on, she would often suggest I get on the internet and make it public.

Finally, I did it and haven't looked back.


I've made many friends and enjoy enormously the feedback and comments I get from my rantings. I thank each and every one of you who has bothered to post a comment on my blog. I read each one with interest and pleasure.

If I've tended to harp on one theme which people find repetitive and boring, then I apologize but
I won't change my ways.

I will gladly tackle any theme or subject if someone suggests it to me.

I would like to make an individual thanks to everybody but I'm afraid I might leave somebody out so just consider yourselves mentioned.

Finally, I would like to say that there are some incredibly talented people out there whose public persona exists only in blogsphere. Keep up the good work and together we might change the world.
