If it makes you feel any better, widespread flooding was predicted for the area where I live based on the fact that an unusual amount of snowfall had increased the icepack and the spring runoff would devastate the area.
People had all kinds of emergency plans, sandbagging was going on everywhere and in the end, for the most part, it never materialized at all.

I feel left out. You forgot the floods in Dallas! Local lakes (without this weeks rain) are now 4 feet above normal (they were 8 feet below normal).
