It seems that getting outraged about religious themes is no longer the exclusive domain of Muslims. The Pope is angry about a crucified frog.

The difference between the pope and the muslims is that no one will be killed over the frog.
I don't get it - what's the context of the frog?
It's pretty stupid to be upset - Jesus wasn't the only person to be crucified anyway.
It's stupid to be upset when someone makes fun of religion even if it is yours. Why feign respect for something they think isn't real?
Mind you, I have trouble showing respect for a mere title or position too. Unless the person is worthy of the title or position.
