Bushfires

It's a really hot summer, even though we had snowfall at one stage.
Now it's up to the Americans to help us put out our bushfires.
I've been critical of the government for not doing enough. The fact is that private property is defended by a voluntary firefighting force and crown land is defended by government agency. This seems grossly inadequate setup for a country that is annually threatened by fire in summer.
We pay lots of taxes, but as citizens we are always shortchanged when it comes to services we expect from our government.

It must be traumatic. It looks as if the fire is circulating around the continent. Like as fast as it is put out, it reappears again.

And we Americans may not be able to help. Who knows? Or we may be there tomorrow.

I can't help you with the fires. We just have to deal with nature everywhere and humans are driving her into the ground, she will fight back, so there you go.

But I know some folks that used to be in Scientology big time, brainwashed if you will. The thing is, it is just a business like any other business.

Kirsten, I read a news article of how many small outbreaks of fire joined up to create a massive fire that swept through the countryside.

Where's the link to click?

With all the bushes on fire, how do you know God isn't trying to tell you something. I heard that the odd bush talks....same with snakes. Or at least they did in the old days.

Oh yeah, you've been tagged. See my blog.
