As politicians run around like chooks with their heads cut off, surprised that we have drought in this country, floundering with policies on how to save water (see pic), we have the inevitable flip side to the nature of Australia, flood. As night follows day, flood will follow drought in Australia. Why is everybody constantly surprised?

Yes, but down there do you qualify scavangers or looters based upon the color of skin? If only idiocy were a commodity, we'd finally have something to export.
Stucco, scavengers and looters isn't a big problem as far as I am aware.
For many years, it surpriced me HOW FAST people forgot.
Today ... it does not surprice me any more.
The same with the mentality about what they hear on news....
"It is oly on the news...It's not in the real life."
