Tamil Tigers in our back yard

I was shocked to hear that local boys are in the news, WORLD NEWS, at that.

Two guys collecting money for Tsunami appeal under false pretenses and forwarding money to Tamil Tigers. Never heard of them? They are a terrorist organization fighting for independence of Northern Sri Lanka.

When I say local, I mean just down the road, just down the street, just around the corner from where I live.

The fact is my neighborhood is crawling with Indians,Sri Lankans, Pakistanis. Just down the road is an Indian shop. A hub of activity for those getting their curry supplies.
I never imagined the possibility that they might be stocking up on weapons of mass destruction.
I wonder if curry is explosive or inflammable.

Curry is only explosive and flammable when coming out the other end.

I'm always suspicious of unusual donation boxes. There's one at the Thai place. There's also huge boxes for used clothing that say on them "Help bring the children home" WTF? Whose children? Why are they away? Good scam though isn't it?

I love curry though. And I suppose hot pepper might have some way to add to an explosive

BTW ... I tried your wife's date-pudding today. Heaven, real heaven and that sauce!!!! I could eat the sauce alone. I have to admit something though ... I sprinkled the pudding with a little Whisky
