Capital Punishment

There is a moral dilemma for those who want to punish convicted terrorists and who do not condone capital punishment.

Lexcen has an answer.

Cut off hands and feet of terrorists but do not execute them. (See this story on Sharia Law)

Problem solved.

No need for imprisonment which costs the taxpayer money.

No fear of re-offending by the convicted criminals.
In fact this is already practiced under sharia law. Not such a shift in thinking as it might first appear.

Of course, there is the possibility that the amputees will resort to artificial limbs and resort to their old tricks.

Now that I think of it, it's not such a good idea.

But wait, on the other hand we could also blind them and eliminate that possibility....

Unusual solutions for unusual times.

I have no common ground with people such as these.
