The reason being that swine flu has now been officially declared a pandemic.
Meanwhile, at the world's capital of swine flu, Melbourne, authorities have begun to give away Tamiflu for free.
No doubt, my time is short and death is inevitably just around the corner as winter here has only just begun.
I would like to thank all of you who have contributed to this blog, my memories will always be fond.
Of course I will continue on valiantly until the inevitable catches up with me, there is no escaping the swine flu. So it is fitting that I prepare myself and my readers towards the end of this blog.
I'm not sure if death from swine flu will be swift or prolonged and painful but I do not look forward to it.

I will miss you. Will you have an online memorial prior to the expected event so we can cry and say what a great guy you were even though we never met?
Any great songs you want played?
I'm rooting for slow and painful. That way we'll all learn what we can look forward to when winter comes round again...
I think that My Way sung by Frank Sinatra would be appropriate.
I prefer Arlo Guthrie's way...
Reminds me of the angst after the Cold War ended and we realized the world wasn't going to end in a nuclear conflagration so we had to buck up and get jobs.
Motorsickle is not me, too humble.
Idea! Lex, start writing posts now and schedule them to post once a week as long as you can...that way we'll enjoy your weirdness...er, briilliance long after your slow and painful death.
good idea?
Thanks Jen aka Pinky but my thoughts are borne and posted as they occur. I'd love to do as you suggest. If you really like my weirdness, you can always check my vast catalog of previous posts.
Okay Lex. I'll look back over your archives to see if you're getting weirder or normal-er. Because...I'm such a good judge of normal. heh.
My thoughts are posted as they occur, too. I nearly always regret it. :-)
...later, if not sooner.. ;-)
yeah, you make sure of that, dontcha, FJ?
Where would the world be w/o a-holes like me?
That was a rhetorical question.

By the time stamps, I can only surmise that you've already regretted reacting with your first impulse.
No regrets, pinky! ;-)
