The terrorists who tried to bomb an airport in London and Glasgow have been linked to doctors in Australia.
Nicholson, the Australian cartoonist saw the irony in having outsourced our IT work to Indians in India.
I'm now waiting for the storm of protest from Indian doctors and IT workers.
No doubt there'll be a lot of Muhammad's, Mohammed's, Ahmeds amongst them.

I wonder if we buy goods & services from a company that used slave labor, child labor or the likes are we responsible for promoting slavery and child labor???
David, this is a question for each person to ask themselves. Don't forget that coffee also comes from exploited peoples. Would you give up coffee or only buy the coffee endorsed as non-exploitative? Personally I don't feel any guilt for the injustices of the world.
I really do not know what I feel... but guilt would not be the emotion. I think the problem has been evidenced since returning to the US where everything is made somewhere else. This requires us to think about values no longer in terms of a human life being my next door neighbor, instead it takes on the view of some very different looking soul in some far away place I've never seen.
This is the problem: who do our values apply to?
David, your question requires an answer. I don't think there is a better person to answer this than the Australian moral philosopher Peter Singer. I will see if I can find some reference to this subject.
