Lexcen,

Pat Condel is a courageous man. He's already been wrongfully demonized as a bigot by other atheists for saying stuff like this.

I've seen this video before, but he does a very good job. I'm so glad we have someone like him on our side.

Damien,

It's interesting to have observed Pat Condell over the years as he began with attacking religion in general to focusing on Islam in particular.

Lexcen,

The reason probably has a lot to do with the fact that the situation in Europe is significantly worse when it comes to Islamitization, than it is in America or probably Australia, where you live, based on what I know.

Speaking of Pat Condel, He made another more recent video, where I thought he also did a really good job.

The criminal truth

Damien,

Thanks for the link.
No doubt, Islam is the issue of the moment. I thought the debate around the building of the Ground Zero mosque would be sufficient to awaken people to the issue of encroaching Islam.

Lexcen,

Maybe it has been for some people, but at least some critics of Islam, some who often, clearly know what their talking about, don't even have a problem with the ground zero Mosque being built. You might have trouble believing that's the case, but it is, especially if they're libertarians.

There's this one atheist libertarian you tube user who in one of his videos refereed to Islam as "the blood thirsty religion of war," yet when it came to the "Ground Zero Mosque," he made another video poking fun of people who opposed it. He didn't take either of the videos down.

I would have a hard time openly opposing it as well, if I didn't know some unpleasant things about the people behind it. Legally thought, there maybe little we can do about it at this point anyway. Our only hope will be to convince people that guys behind it, are not what they want us to believe they are.

Lexcen,

Here's another example.

This youtube user who goes by the name Klingschor. Clearly he is not a Muslim, and is highly critical of Islam. He claims to have read the Koran, and all the Hadith literature and has made some video commentaries on them, that put them in a less the positive light. He also knows what Taqiya is. Recently he created a series entitled, "The Skeptics Guide to Islamic Law" Sound like something you would be interested in?

Yet he supports the mosque that is to built near where the twin towers once stood. He's even accused Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller of Bigotry for opposing it.

Damien,

Thanks again. I have no appropriate response to those who hold opinions based on ignorance. Klingschor clearly knows a lot about Sharia,so I can't accuse him of ignorance but his approach is one of respect rather than contempt.
In the same way that intelligent people will still cling to religious beliefs that are based on preposterous foundations, intelligent people will embrace Islam. I cannot do anything about that.

Lexcen,

Well, he's not embracing Islam either. Klingschor's an atheist and he has said some very negative things about Islam.

By the way, I meant to say that he's made some videos on some of the things in Islamic holy text that put them in a less than positive light, but I accidentally left a word out. sorry.

Lexcen,

Interestingly enough, I just thought to mention this. In Klingschor's defense, he has defended other critics of Islam on a few occasions. He made a pretty good video defending another skeptical youtube user, known as Thunderf00t, who had made some videos of his own, that were extremely critical of Islam and Muslims and had been demonized for what he said in them. In-spite of the fact that Klingschor disagrees with people who oppose the Ground Zero Mosque. Regardless of the fact that he's wrong on that issue, I don't think we can accuse him of not thinking for himself.

Damien,
I'd like to think I'm always right but if I KNEW I was always right, that would be a scary thought :)
