So, the media refuses to screen this video in fear of offending Muslims. What other reason would there be to stifle freedom of speech in the land that prides itself on freedom of speech?

Frankly, it's a little strong and offensive. War was NOT declared by all Muslims against Americans.
This message is designed to get people all hot under the collar.
I don't think a mosque has any business being at the former WTC site - the idea is offensive without being a call to war - and it shouldn't be allowed to go through. But it should be fought in a less provoking way.
