Tell me it's not true

Australia is in drought with the dams drying up faster than teardrops in hell.
So, who is using up all the water?, you ask.
We should all ask ourselves this question.
Is it the ordinary citizens?
Is is the farmers?
Is it industry?
Well, now we have an answer, it's the power company. Those who generate electricity are using up our precious water.
Why?
Because we don't have enough electricity and they are making extra electricity to provide other states. So, other states are indirectly causing the water shortage in Queensland because in NSW they don't have enough electricity.
Get It? I'll say it again, other states are indirectly causing the water shortage in Queensland because they don't have enough electricity.
Of course, in Victoria, when we had a major power blackout, it was because the electricity piped from NSW to Victoria was cut off by the bushfires. So Victoria is getting a major supply of electricity from NSW who is getting their electricity from Queensland.

This isn't a script for a new Monty Python episode. This is Australia in the new millennium.

Life is getting curiouser and curiouser and I have an image of Australia like Alice falling down the rabbit hole.

If Austrailia crashes into a humanitarian nightmare there will be riots for sure.

We have the Mad Hatter as a Prime Minister. Peter Costello, our treasurer is the Cheshire Cat (you have to know Australian politics to see the resemblance) our foreign minister Alexander Downer is the Queen. Welcome to Australians in Wonderland.
