The use of the word "revert" instead of "convert" might be a giveaway or maybe not.
Or maybe the word implies the undercurrent thought that in fact we are all born Muslims and we stray from the true faith. Would a Jewish boy of 15 years know that?
I've seen this story on many Muslim web sites and this also raises my suspicions that it it a clever piece of propaganda.
Propaganda = Information that is spread for the purpose of promoting some cause
Did you know for example that the Qu'ran is full of scientific facts. Take this quote from 15 year old boy for example.

And by the way there is propaganda everywhere. Obviously the only type you take seriouly are the ones promoting immorality, ignorance and stupidy.
