Join me at the Online Islamic Conference

I love the weekend. This weekend especially because I can attend the online conference of Authentic Tawheed.

I guess in an age of uncertainty, it is understandable that there would be much discussion about what the true Islamic creed might be. Islam has one basic and huge split. That is between Shia and Sunni. You could compare it to the split between the Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches in Christianity.

But here's the rub, the conference will discuss why they dislike Christians.
It seems that Muslims who crave for tolerance, understanding and acceptance of their religion do NOT have  much room for tolerance, understanding, acceptance of other religions.

The question in my mind is this, is there some way to distinguish between Shi'a and Sunni that helps to understand terrorism. This PDF is full of information.

For what it's worth, the study quoted above focuses on the Shi'a group of Muslims.
On the other hand, it is common knowledge that Saudi Arabia is a primary source of funding for Islamic schools in other countries. These Islamic schools advocate the overthrow of democratic government in favor of Islamic rule. Note that Islam is not, and never was just a religion. A common misconception of the naive and ignorant.

I ask my readers to carefully contemplate the 13 points against Christians which Islam finds abhorrent.

Finally, I suggest you contemplate the 70 deadly sins of Islam.

There's a lot there to screw up on. And you would have to be Muslim in order to follow them. Whereas, the 10 commandments, other than the ones requiring worship to God, can conceivably be kept by anyone - they are the basis for civil living.

Red Squirrel, when I posted this list, at the back of my mind was the thought that here is such an obvious example of hypocrisy it was mind numbingly obvious. Still, maybe not everybody can see it as clearly as you and I.
