This soon became known as Global Warming. At some point in time, this new expression was dropped and it became what is currently the term Climate Change. This new term is best because it can mean anything we want it to mean without making any specific reference to any observable criteria. You would have noticed this fact by observing that any phenomenon that is reported in the news these days is usually attributed to Climate Change, for example, the declining number of polar bears on the planet
- the geographical distribution of malaria
- the prolonged drought in Australia
- the melting glaciers around the world and the shrinking of the polar caps
- the whole in the ozone layer
No doubt the increase in the number of homosexuals leading to social pressure to allow for homosexual marriages to be legalized is also due to climate change, we just need another expert to explain the causal links in this process to us simpletons... but I digress.
I'm sure it won't be long before some scientist appears explaining to us simple folk how the record snowfall and drop in temperature is all directly linked to Climate Change and reassure us that we have not been deceived in our belief that the planet earth is warming up.

I don't doubt that our pollution of the planet is a negative thing but I don't believe that we are actually causing the climate change. Back when I was a kid, the scientists believed we were heading for an ice age because the winters were getting colder. Then suddenly, it turned warmer. Suddenly. And stayed that way for about 30 years. Now, it seems, we've got cold and snow back. Well, last year, we didn't have much snow but it was cold. I think the climate just changes. It does this so that grandparents can whine at their grandkids that they should have had the summers/winters THEY had as kids - today's aren't nearly as bad/good.
They already are.
Polar bears are actually increasing in numbers.
Off-Topic: Sadly, I noticed you deleted your "Going Jihad" article.
Thanks bernie, I thought it lacked any interest, I was wrong.
Perhaps I should have made a comment when you deleted the Conversation between Ahmed & Faruz.
Here's an explanation for the record winter of Europe and Nth America

Note the date of the article
I'm eagerly anticipating the scientific explanation for colder summers in Australia...
